Mission Statement
Live WTL was founded for Catholic teens to spread the good news of Christ Jesus the Savior, and to teach kids and teens their faith so that they may be able to spread the good news of Christ Jesus the Savior. The mission is truly to live out John 14:6 by living out Jesus Christ’s teachings and knowing that He alone is the way, truth, and life!

I’m Avery. 15 years old (almost). Sophomore. Catholic. I’m imperfect, flawed, a sinner, and a hypocrite. I don’t have a theology degree, I’m not a nun, and I’ve only gone to Catholic school for a month. But if I know anything, I know that God is the center of my life. And I am desperately in love with Him and His Church. Jesus Christ is my best friend and my savior, and I’m striving to live out my hope in Him one day at a time. I long to be unhindered and authentic. I’m tired of the motions, of feeling like faith is stiff and fake. Because it’s real. It’s SO real. And it’s amazing. I’m trusting, I’m searching, and I’m falling head over heels in love.
God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called. And I consider it an incredible blessing to be called to serve Live WTL Ministries.

If you’re a kid or teen, or you ever were a kid or teen, then I can assure you that you’re in the right place! Live WTL Ministries is more than just a “place for Catholic kids and teens, by Catholic kids and teens” though. We’re a family.
I started Live WTL Ministries in May of 2009 as a place where Catholic teens could come together to connect, learn, and grow in love for God. In just the short two years we’ve been at it, I’ve seen just how amazing God can be and where he has taken the ministry blows my mind.
This is an opportunity that I’m going to ask you to embrace. An opportunity to let go, let God, and experience His saving love and grace. Live WTL is more than just a website. More than just a ministry. It’s a calling. It’s a calling of love and mercy that lives within all of us, yet sometimes we find ourselves afraid to answer. Afraid to reach out. Afraid to question.
My friends, this is the place where you can question, search, and grow to your heart’s content. Every two weeks, we put out a podcast called “Live Out Loud” that addresses a variety of topics relevant to teens. It’s anything from modesty to interviews to understanding scripture to reaching out to orphans. It’s not focused on a central theme, because our Faith is so incredibly wide and broad that it can’t be covered in one way.
I carefully select topics to be soundly orthodox and relevant. But, I’m open to ideas. We’re teens here. Not crazy preachers who want to shove the Bible down your throat. Just authentic, caring people who want to share the incredible LOVE that Christ has given us. So be open. Ask questions. You will not be judged in any way. God sent his son to die for us, It’s amazing we aren’t screaming at the top of our lungs everywhere we go. This was made to help you stand up in this world that will keep pushing you down unless you have someone to lift you back up. I hope to inspire you to spread His word, that there is a God of Mercy, Grace, and Love and he has forgiven us of our sins.
There’s more to this world than us. We’re here to learn, grow, and then reach out.
